How Pricing Works

Updated: 2026-05-19

Every request is different, so I provide a price after reviewing what you need.

General questions, basic advice, and checking whether I can help are free. A request may become paid when it requires me to actually handle something for you, such as purchasing a product, downloading or transferring files, obtaining paid content, or completing another practical task.

If paid work is needed, I will confirm what I will help you complete, the service fee, any product or third-party costs, any applicable payment processing fee, the total amount, and the payment method before anything begins.

1. What the Price May Include

A quote may include the following parts:

Service Fee

The service fee covers the time, manual work, communication, research, and handling needed to complete your request.

For most paid requests, the service fee usually starts at $5. The final service fee depends on factors such as:

  • the complexity of the request;
  • the number of tasks involved;
  • the time needed to complete the work;
  • the amount of communication or research required;
  • the product or third-party costs involved;
  • any additional risk or special handling required.

If your request is very simple, or if you are a student or genuinely having difficulty with payment, feel free to let me know. Depending on the request, I may be able to offer a lower service fee or help at no charge.

Product and Third-Party Costs

Some requests involve costs paid to another platform, seller, or service provider. Examples include the price of a digital product, membership, subscription, file access, activation code, or other paid content.

These costs are separate from the service fee. I do not treat them as my own service income.

When a cost is charged in Chinese Yuan (CNY), I convert it to USD using the Bank of China foreign exchange selling rate. I do not add a markup or make a profit from currency conversion.

Payment Processing Fee

Payment providers may deduct international transaction, currency-conversion, or other fees from the amount I receive. If this fee is significant and your request includes product or third-party costs, I may calculate the payment processing fee based on those product or third-party costs and include it in the total amount you pay. This is because the fee is a real payment-provider cost and is directly related to the amount paid on your behalf.

For example, PayPal may charge fees for receiving international commercial payments. For Mainland China accounts, PayPal lists an international commercial transaction rate of 4.40% + fixed fee, and the fixed fee for payments received in USD is $0.30. You can check the latest details in the PayPal Merchant Fees documentation.

The final amount may vary depending on the payment method. I will explain any applicable payment processing fee before you pay, and I do not add a profit margin to this fee.

2. If the Request Changes

If the request changes, or if additional work is needed after the original details are confirmed, I will discuss and confirm any price change with you before continuing.
