Privacy Policy

Updated: 2026-05-19

This Privacy Policy explains how DigiOtter handles information when you use the website or contact me about a request.

DigiOtter is a small, human-assisted service. I use information only as reasonably needed to review requests, communicate with you, confirm pricing and payment, complete agreed work, deliver results, handle refunds or support, and keep necessary records.

I do not sell your personal information.

1. Information I May Collect

Depending on how you contact me and what you ask me to do, I may collect:

  • your email address, social media username, or other contact details;
  • messages and request details you send to me;
  • links, screenshots, file passwords, product details, account identifiers, platform usernames, membership details, delivery preferences, or other information needed to review or complete the request;
  • price, payment status, refund status, delivery status, and related communication records;
  • basic technical information from the website, if needed for security, operation, or troubleshooting.

Please provide only the information reasonably needed for your request.

2. How I Use Information

I use information to:

  • review whether I can help with your request;
  • ask follow-up questions and confirm the agreed scope;
  • confirm the service fee, product or third-party costs, payment processing fee, total amount, and payment method;
  • complete the request manually;
  • deliver links, files, codes, screenshots, confirmations, instructions, or other completed results;
  • handle refunds, delivery issues, support, disputes, fraud prevention, bookkeeping, and basic service operations.

3. Sensitive Information

Please do not send passwords, verification codes, government ID documents, or highly sensitive personal information in your first message.

If account access or sensitive information is genuinely necessary for a specific request, I will explain why before asking for it. If you send unnecessary or unusually sensitive information, I may delete it, refuse the request, or ask you to resend only the minimum needed information.

4. Third-Party Services

Some requests require third-party tools or platforms, such as:

  • email, social media, or messaging tools;
  • payment providers such as PayPal, Wise, or another agreed method;
  • cloud storage or file transfer services;
  • Chinese apps, websites, sellers, cloud storage services, membership platforms, or other services involved in the request.

These third parties may receive information needed for their role in payment, fulfillment, delivery, or support. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and terms.

5. Payment Information

Payments are generally handled through third-party payment providers. I do not store full payment card details directly on the DigiOtter website.

I may keep limited payment-related records, such as the selected payment method, quoted total, fee breakdown, payment status, refund status, and transaction reference information shared by you or the payment provider.

6. Sharing Information

I do not sell or rent personal information.

I may share information only when reasonably necessary:

  • to complete the request you asked me to handle;
  • with payment, communication, storage, delivery, or platform services involved in the request;
  • to handle refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud prevention, security issues, or support;
  • when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.

7. Retention

I keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • completing the request and communicating with you;
  • resolving delivery issues, refunds, disputes, or support requests;
  • keeping accounting, anti-fraud, legal, and operational records.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, I may delete it, anonymize it, or stop actively using it, subject to practical backup, logging, and legal or bookkeeping limitations.

8. Security

I take reasonable measures to protect information, including careful manual handling, limiting access, and using established third-party providers where appropriate.

No website, transmission method, storage system, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for your request.

9. Your Choices

Depending on your location and the information involved, you may ask me to:

  • confirm whether I hold certain information about you;
  • correct clearly inaccurate information;
  • delete information that is no longer needed, subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-handling, or operational needs;
  • stop using certain information where continued use is not necessary for an active request or legitimate operational purpose.

10. Children's Privacy

DigiOtter is not intended for children. I do not knowingly provide services to children or intentionally collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to me, please contact me and I will review the situation.

11. Changes and Contact

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date on this page shows the latest revision. If you continue using DigiOtter after an update, the updated policy applies going forward.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your information, email gabe@digiotter.com. When relevant, include enough context for me to identify the conversation.
